About Pendletone Effects
Pendletone Effects is a small-batch guitar pedal company focused on building practical, great-sounding tools for musicians who care about feel, character, and reliability.
Founded in Kansas by guitarist and Army logistics officer Chris Pendleton, Pendletone Effects grew from late-night breadboard experiments and workbench prototypes into a growing lineup of hand-built pedals designed for real-world playing situations — from edge-of-breakup blues tones to aggressive, raw overdrive textures.
Every pedal is assembled in small batches using carefully selected components, custom PCBs, and individually tested circuits. The goal isn’t to chase hype or copy trends. It’s to create pedals that inspire people to play.
Pendletone Effects products combine clean layouts, thoughtful design, and a workshop-built philosophy rooted in precision, repeatability, and continuous refinement. Each build reflects the same mindset behind the company itself: practical craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a genuine love of guitar tone.
Whether it’s the British-inspired character of the King’s Road Overdrive, the raw attitude of the Blood Drive, or the evolving experimentation behind future designs, Pendletone Effects is committed to building pedals with personality — made by a player, for players.
