Classic overdrive with a focused midrange.
Second Order is a hand-built, SD-1–style overdrive with three simple controls. Keep the Drive low and raise the Volume to push an amp that’s already breaking up, or turn up the Drive for crunchy rhythm parts and leads with more grit.

Sound & Controls
Second Order adds a focused midrange and a little edge to the pick attack. That makes it a good fit for rhythm parts that need to stay clear alongside bass and drums, or for single-note lines that could use more presence.
Into a clean amp, bring up the Drive until chords break up the way you want. Into an amp that’s already gritty, start with the Drive low and raise the Volume to hear what the extra signal does to the amp. Adjust Tone last. If the attack gets sharp, back it off a little. If a riff gets lost in the mix, bring it back up.
Drive sets how much overdrive the pedal adds. Turn it down for lighter grit or up for a thicker crunch.
Tone adjusts the top end. Turn it down to soften the attack or up to add definition.
Volume sets the pedal’s output level. Use it to match your bypassed sound or to push the amp harder.
